Receiving and Reflecting the Light: Full Moon Labyrinth Walk

November 24, 2026

5:30 - 7:00 p.m.

Join us beneath the full moon for an evening of quiet reflection, prayer, and contemplative walking. Inspired by the moon’s reflected light, we will consider what it means to receive God’s light rather than strive to create it ourselves.

Through silence, Scripture, guided reflection, and a full-moon labyrinth walk, we will explore two movements of the spiritual life: receiving the Light and reflecting the Light.

The moon offers us a simple and beautiful spiritual metaphor: it does not create its own light. It receives light and reflects it. What if our spiritual lives can be understood in much the same way—not as a striving to create light within ourselves, but as learning to become receptive to the light already being given to us?

The labyrinth will offer a physical prayer journey. Walking inward, we will release the noise, worries, and expectations we carry. At the center, we will pause simply to receive—to rest in God's presence without needing to accomplish anything. As we walk outward, we will consider how the light we have received might be reflected through our lives and offered to the world around us.

As Thanksgiving approaches, the labyrinth invites us to slow down, release what we’re carrying, rest in God’s presence, and listen for what light we might carry back into the world. Come as you are, and walk with us.
